1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this website or engaging our services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These Terms of Service apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our website and services.

2. Services Description

Nolan Cairns Group Pty Ltd operates two divisions:

• Goldies Property Maintenance & Renovations: Handyman services, property maintenance, renovations, painting, landscaping, and property preparation services.
• Nolan Cairns Design: Interior design, home styling, furniture installation, decluttering, colour consulting, and property styling for sale services.

All services are provided in the Central Coast NSW area and surrounding regions.

3. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary based on:

• Changes to project scope or specifications
• Unforeseen complications or additional work required
• Changes in material costs or availability
• Additional permits or approvals required

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if work commencement is delayed beyond the quote validity period.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements. Generally:

• A deposit may be required before work commencement
• Progress payments may be required for larger projects
• Final payment is due upon completion and handover
• Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, cash, and credit card

Late payment fees may apply to overdue accounts. We reserve the right to suspend work until payment is received.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms depend on the type and stage of the project:

• Consultations can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment
• Projects cancelled before commencement may incur planning and preparation costs
• Projects cancelled after commencement will be charged for work completed and materials ordered
• Styling services may have different cancellation terms due to furniture hire arrangements

Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in individual service agreements.

6. Liability and Insurance

Nolan Cairns Group Pty Ltd carries comprehensive public liability insurance. However:

• Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided
• We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
• Client must provide safe working conditions and disclose any known hazards
• Damage to existing property due to hidden defects is not our responsibility

All work is performed by licensed and insured professionals in accordance with Australian standards and regulations.

7. Warranties

We provide warranties on our workmanship as follows:

• General maintenance and handyman work: 3 months
• Painting work: 12 months on internal work, 6 months on external work
• Renovation work: As per Australian Consumer Law
• Styling services: No warranty on aesthetic preferences

Warranties cover defects in workmanship but not normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, or failure to maintain the work properly.

8. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information in all communications and forms
• Not use the website for any unlawful purposes
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Not attempt to damage or disrupt the website

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

9. Changes to Terms
